About Us

Lotus STEMM is a grassroots Not-For-Profit Organization aimed at creating a community for South Asian women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM).  While we as South Asian women occupy significant amount of space in these fields, & play important roles in our respective communities, Lotus STEMM wants to increase visibility for South Asian women so that the next generation can be inspired and see representation in a variety of roles. We are also working to understand how the two parts of our lives, career and personal, intertwine to make a learning and growth opportunity for ourselves.

 

Our objectives, detailed below, are all aimed at providing South Asian girls/women a platform and space to showcase, improve, and develop their talents. Together, all of us can create the change that we need and want to see.
